1. Welding flat bottom process: welding the bottom of the tank directly with the tank body, and through the form of flat welding. This process is suitable for smaller tanks and requires higher welding smoothness.
2. Ball bottom welding process: The ball bottom and the tank are welded through the ball welding form. This process is suitable for large storage tanks, and the ball bottom can withstand greater stress and improve the strength of the storage tank.
3. Welding cone bottom process: the cone bottom is welded with the tank body, and the height of the storage tank is reduced by welding the cone bottom, and the strength of the storage tank is improved. This process is suitable for storage tanks with special requirements.
In the process of tank bottom welding, it is usually necessary to carry out pre-welding preparation work, including cleaning the welding surface, checking the geometry and size of the weld. During the welding process, it is necessary to pay attention to maintaining uniform welding temperature, controlling welding speed and welding current, ensuring weld quality and welding strength, in addition, the selection of protective gas is also an important part of the tank bottom welding process. Common protective gases are inert gases (such as xenon) and active gases (such as carbon dioxide mixture), which are used to protect the weld pool during the welding process to prevent oxidation and pollution.
