Therefore, the welding process of tank bottom plate has a very important relationship with the storage stability of petroleum. The bottom of the tank will be deformed due to irregular welding. In order to effectively reduce the welding deformation of the oil storage tank, it is necessary to arrange the welding sequence reasonably.
Effectively distinguish according to the length of the weld, which can effectively prevent welding deformation, when the length of the weld is inconsistent, the method of segmental skip welding can be used, which can effectively reduce the deformation of the bottom plate. During the welding process, you can use a hand hammer to release pressure and reduce deformation. Both clockwise back welding and symmetrical welding can reduce the deformation of the bottom plate of the oil storage tank to a certain extent.
Welding of edge plate of oil storage tank
The welding of the edge plate of the oil storage tank should be carried out at a place close to the edge of 3cm, and a symmetrical welding method should be adopted. The welded joint of the edge plate of the butt weld shall be at the point where the bottom of the tank contacts the wall of the tank. Before welding the shrink joints of the edges and intermediate plates, a symmetrical welding method with uniform distribution should be selected during the welding process. The welding seam of the first layer needs to adopt the method of segmental backwelding, which can reduce the deformation of the edge plate.
Welding of storage tank walls
The welding of the wall of the oil storage tank should strictly follow the welding sequence of first welding the longitudinal seam and then welding the girth weld. When welding, welders need to be evenly distributed and welded in the same direction. It should be noted that if the longitudinal seam is welded by electric welding, the order of welding is from the bottom to the top. When the butt weld needs to be submerged arc automatic welding, the welder must be evenly distributed and welded in the same direction.
Weld the fixed roof of the oil storage tank
When welding the fixed roof of the oil storage tank, it is necessary to weld the inner seam first, and then weld the outer weld. Radial welding of long welds generally adopts the method of symmetrical welding, and the backwelding is carried out from the center to the outside. When welding the top and edge corners, the welder needs a uniform symmetrical distribution to perform piecewise backwelding to effectively reduce the phenomenon of welding deformation. It is also necessary to arrange the welding sequence reasonably, and when the skip welding method is used for short welding operations, welding deformation caused by uneven cooling and pressure welding can be avoided. In the welding process, the welding speed needs to be reasonably controlled to ensure that the cooling time is relatively stable, and the heating of the weld metal plate needs to be uniform, effectively reducing the temperature difference in different parts, so that the possibility of deformation of the fixed roof can be greatly reduced.
