Therefore, the production and installation of vertical circular storage tanks are also constantly updated and developed.
The prefabrication, lifting and welding of large storage tank are the main processes of storage tank manufacturing, which directly affect the construction quality of storage tank manufacturing. At the same time, in the production of storage tanks, the main workload is concentrated on the welding process. In today's construction industry, automatic welding technology has infiltrated into the storage tank manufacturing process, but the automatic welding machine is usually designed on the basis of the storage tank "formal assembly".
In the production of large storage tanks, in order to reduce the amount of high-altitude work, reduce the investment of scaffolding, etc., we are accustomed to using the "flip method" operation. To this end, our company's technical personnel specially modified the suspension horizontal welding machine for the "forward loading method" and improved the rail horizontal welding machine for the "flip loading method". At the same time, in the process of tank lifting, in order to be more stable and faster, the hydraulic jacking system replaced the original electric hoist. The advanced construction technology such as automatic welding and hydraulic jacking system is integrated into the "flip mounting method" construction technology. In addition, the "single-side welding double-side forming" technology developed by ourselves is used in automatic welding.
The construction technology has been proved safe, reliable and advanced by practice. The welding quality of the tank can meet the requirements of the code, and overcome some shortcomings of the "formal installation method", which is a construction method worth popularizing in the same industry.
