The LYT jacks is made up of a hydraulic cylinder, pulley block, load-bearing chain, and oilway, among others. With a mobile pulley, the chain stroke is extended, allowing the cylinder to travel half the distance the chain lifts. This hoist is suitable for constructing large storage tanks, particularly when installed inverted.

1. Laying of tank bottom plate.
2. Preparation of the top first siding and tank roof.
3. To create an expansion ring, a rolling machine is used to shape 16-25# channel steel into an arc that matches the inner curve of the tank. The outer channel steel is rolled towards the tank, while the inner channel steel is rolled away from it, forming a complete circle. These two channel steels are then assembled into a mouth-like shape. To ensure the ring's durability, an internal rib plate is welded onto the hoist's lifting point. The expansion ring is cut into sections, with several fractures left to weld the end face to place the screw jack. Every 9 meters is a section with a junction plate welded at each end. The expansion ring is joined together using screws and fractures designed to hold the screw jack. These fractures should avoid the hoist's lifting position and can be made according to Figure 1.
4. To prepare each hoist, two door-type clamps are required, as depicted in Figure 2 (a reference diagram for lug and clamp preparation). The door-type clamp clips onto the expansion ring, which does not need to be welded to the tank wall. Instead, the expansion ring can be expanded against the tank wall using a screw jack. The top and bottom sides of the door-type clamp are welded onto the tank wall. During lifting, the expansion ring transfers force to the door-type clamp, which then transfers it to the tank wall.
5. The expansion ring is secured onto the tank wall with a clamp. The distance between the lower plane of the expansion ring and the lower plane of the tank siding should be about 100-150mm. If the expansion ring is positioned too high, it can impact the hoist's lifting height.
6. To evenly distribute the hoists, place them on the expansion ring and weld the lifting lug made up of two ear plates and two rib plates for each hoist. Figure 2 can be used as a reference for preparing the lifting lug and door-type clamp.
7. The hoist and hydraulic pump station have been installed and the oil way and circuit have been connected and released for testing.
8. The process for lifting the tank includes welding the vertical seam on the coaming, lowering the tank, welding the circular seam, lowering the expansion ring, and preparing for the next layer of siding.

The LYT-type hydraulic jacks is made up of multiple groups of hoists that are supplied with oil by one YB-type hydraulic pump station. Several groups of LYT-type hydraulic jacks form a complete inverted hydraulic hoist set.
